Alexandra Wright is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience across various sectors, currently serving as the Chief of Communications and Customer Service for The School District of Philadelphia since October 2022. As the Co-Founder and Board Chair of Nexters P.A.C. since December 2015, Alexandra leads initiatives to support Black political candidates, successfully raising funds for over 30 candidates. Previously, Alexandra held the role of Director of Marketing and Communications at Mastery Schools, where strategic communication enhanced student enrollment and staff recruitment. At PECO, significant external and internal communication strategies were implemented, resulting in notable media placements. Earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Communications and Spokeswoman for the City of Wilmington, while also covering sports as a reporter for Brooklyn Independent Television and Heritage Sports Radio Network. Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earned in 2010.
