Duriya Aziz serves as Senior Vice President and Publisher for the Education International Group at Scholastic, a position held since May 2011, where responsibilities include overseeing international education segment revenue, profit, business strategy, and product development for K-12 markets across various global regions. Previously, Duriya was Vice President and Publisher at Scholastic, playing a key role in establishing the international education initiative and setting up a research and development center in Singapore. Prior experience includes General Manager of the Education Publishing Group at Marshall Cavendish International, Associate Tutor at Open University (SIM), and Editor at Longman Publishers. Duriya holds a PhD in Education, an MBA in Business Administration, an MA in English Studies, and a BA in English Language and Literature, with educational qualifications obtained from institutions including Leeds Beckett University, the University of Strathclyde, and the National University of Singapore.
