Geir Arnesen is an experienced professional in the field of software development and integration architecture, currently serving as a DevOps Engineer and Senior Developer at Schibsted Media Group since April 2012, and also holding a Senior Developer position at Schibsted Norge Tech since January 2015. Prior to these roles, Geir worked as a Senior Developer and Senior IT Consultant at Media Norge Digital from September 2009 to April 2012, and spent two decades at Aftenposten from 1980 to 2009, where responsibilities included software architecture, Java development, and systems consulting. Notable projects include the implementation of "System 55" and the development of "Coyote Express," an innovative offline client for journalists. Geir began their career as a photographer at Aftenposten, contributing to the organization’s early visual storytelling.
