Marlene Gafrick is a seasoned urban planning professional with extensive experience in both public and private sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor for the City of Houston since January 2024, Marlene previously held the position of Director of Planning at MetroNational for a decade and contributed over 33 years as a planner and director in various roles at the City of Houston. Marlene holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics with a focus on Urban and Regional Planning from Missouri State University, acquired between 1976 and 1980.
