Jaco De Jager is an accomplished electrical engineer and management consultant with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as the CMC manager at Scatec Solar since November 2020, Jaco oversees a modern control and monitoring center that manages the performance of multiple photovoltaic plants globally. Prior to this role, Jaco worked at Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd from January 2012 to November 2020, where responsibilities included investigating power quality violations in the Free State province, handling customer complaints related to power quality, and conducting renewable power plant assessments. Jaco holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from North-West University, completed in 2011.
