Dr. Dirghangi is a practicing ophthalmologist with fellowship training in glaucoma and international ophthalmology and is the founder of Scanoptix, a Charlottesville start up and a UVA Darden School of Business i.Lab participant. Dr. Dirghangi obtained his MD at the University of Tennessee, MHS at John Hopkins University, and BA at Columbia University. ā€œDr. Dā€ has been a team member on multiple overseas blindness prevention programs with Orbis International, has been an Exponential Medicine Impact Fellow through Singularity University (Google X-Prize), and is the former Truhlsen Eye Institute Fellow in Global Blindness Prevention.
