Marcus Bening is an accomplished operations advisor and entrepreneur with extensive expertise in revenue operations and go-to-market strategies. Currently serving as an Operations Advisor at Advent International since August 2022, Marcus advises portfolio companies on commercial effectiveness and revenue excellence. As the Founder and Managing Partner of Bening Consulting, Marcus supports private equity and venture capital-backed growth companies. Additional roles include Scale Expert at Scalewise, advisor positions at RevBrains and Teamfluenceâ„¢, and involvement with The Open SaaS Institute as a founding member. Previously, Marcus held significant leadership roles at Zenjob and Outreach, where responsibilities included building revenue operations organizations and implementing comprehensive marketing and sales strategies. Marcus holds multiple Master of Science degrees in Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from leading universities in Germany.
