Melany Diaz is a skilled data analyst currently employed at Scaleway since October 2022. Previously, Melany co-founded La Petite Cuisine Clermontoise, a back-end service for catering and restaurant websites, exemplified by a successful prototype tested with a pop-up vegan restaurant. Melany has also held the position of database engineer at CBRE | Forum Analytics, and worked as a sound engineer, theatre technician, and set builder with Wellspring/Cori Terry & Dancers, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills in high-stress environments. Earlier experiences include serving as a teacher assistant and tutor at Kalamazoo College, and as a research assistant focusing on illegal cigarette sales data. Melany earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Computer Science from Kalamazoo College and has additional qualifications in French Studies and Marketing from ESC Clermont Business School.
