Jim Dillavou has extensive experience in aircraft maintenance, currently serving as the Part 135 Director of Maintenance and Part 145 Accountable Manager at SC Aviation, Inc. since November 2001. Previous roles include Aircraft Mechanic at Newell Rubbermaid, Shop Foreman at Raytheon Aircraft Services, Director of Maintenance at Aero Taxi, and Aircraft Maintenance Technician with the United States Air Force, where Jim was a veteran of the Persian Gulf War. Additionally, Jim has contributed to education as a part-time professor at Rock Valley College, teaching FAA-approved courses in aircraft systems and inspections. Jim holds an Associate's Degree in Applied Science, Aircraft Maintenance Technology from Rock Valley College, along with prior education in Aircraft Maintenance Technology at DAVEA.
