Elke Ruelens is a learning expert, trainer, and HR consultant at SBS Skill BuilderS since December 2019, where responsibilities include coaching job seekers, developing and delivering online training, and managing digital onboarding. As a communication coordinator at PUNT. vzw since July 2021, Elke also volunteers in communication efforts. Prior experience includes serving as a study counsellor and PhD researcher at the University of Antwerp from 2015 to 2019, focusing on learner autonomy and academic writing. Previous roles include project consultant at Interculturate & Communication for Professionals, enhancing professional intercultural communication through workshops, and academic assistant at the University of Antwerp. Educational qualifications comprise a Doctorate in Linguistics and a Master of Arts in Linguistics and Literature from the University of Antwerp, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Teacher Training for English and Dutch from Katholieke Hogeschool Limburg.
