Kapil Khanna has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Kapil started their career in 2000 as a Sales Representative at Jenson & Nicholson India Ltd, where they were responsible for establishing and managing dealer networks for Decorative Paints. Kapil also oversaw branch depot operations and conducted dealer meets. From 2002 to 2004, Kapil worked as an Area Sales Executive at Nike Licensee - Sierra Industrial Enterprises Pvt Ltd, administering primary and secondary sales, establishing dealer networks, and managing relationships with key stores. In 2007, they joined SBI Card as a Manager - SBI Branch Channel, where they served until 2010. In 2014, they returned to SBI Card as a Senior Manager, and in 2017, they became a Deputy Vice President. Currently, Kapil holds the position of Vice President of Sales at SBI Card, a role they have been in since October 2020.

Kapil Khanna obtained an MBA (Mktg.) degree in Marketing from Savitribai Phule Pune University between 1998 and 2000. Prior to that, they completed their B Com. degree from an undisclosed institution from 1994 to 1997. In their earlier education, Kapil attended City Montessori School from 1992 to 1994 for Intermediate studies, and before that, they completed their High School education at St. Mary's High School from 1981 to 1992.
