Heinz Freimann is an accomplished leader in the aviation maintenance industry with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Head of Maintenance for the East Region and Head of Strategic Projects Maintenance at SBB CFF FFS since January 2016, Heinz has previously held significant roles at SR Technics Group from 1998 to 2015, including General Manager and Vice President of Component Maintenance, where responsibilities encompassed managing operations across multiple countries and ensuring financial and operational performance. Key accomplishments include the successful establishment of maintenance facilities in Malaysia, performance improvements through lean six sigma implementation, and effective organizational restructurings. Heinz Freimann began a career in consultancy at Zühlke Engineering AG after earning a Master in Industrial Engineering from ETH Zürich.
