John Emoto-Tisdale is a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer at SawStop, with previous experience in mechanical design engineering at various companies such as Food + Beverage Innovations and Applied Medical. John has expertise in designing mechanical and electro-mechanical sub-systems, conducting first principles-based calculations and simulations, and prototyping using various methods. John's work includes designing for different manufacturing processes and materials, as well as leading teams and presenting project status. John also holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara.
