Jon Cao is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and data management, currently serving as the Co-Founder of SaventData since 2022, where a scalable solution for automatic business operations monitoring is being developed. Prior to this role, Jon co-founded a stealth mode startup focused on data quality in 2020. From 2016 to 2019, Jon was an Engineering Manager at Uber, where the External Data Ingestion team was bootstrapped and managed, creating a framework for data ingestion from various external sources. Jon's previous experience includes positions at Twitter as a Staff Software Engineer, Zynga as a Lead Software Engineer, RockYou! as a Lead Analytics Engineer, Yahoo! as a Technical Yahoo Principal, and Oracle as a Senior Member of Technical Staff. Jon holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an education from Stanford University.
