Alex Krofta is an experienced environmental professional with a strong background in ecological restoration and land stewardship. Currently serving as the Ecological Restoration Projects Manager at Connecticut Fund for the Environment/Save the Sound since May 2019, Alex also holds the position of Restoration Scientist at Merrimack River Watershed Council and Stewardship Specialist at Land Stewardship, Inc. Since beginning a career in environmental science, Alex has worked in various roles, including Stewardship Biologist at Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife and Restoration Project Manager & GIS Specialist at Polatin Ecological Services, LLC. Alex holds a Master’s Degree in Ecological Planning and Design from The Conway School and a Master of Arts in Environmental Science and Policy from Clark University, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Clark University.
