Steve Miller currently serves as the Global Director of Child Protection at Save the Children International, a position held since March 2023. In addition to this role, Steve is actively involved in several committees and boards, including serving as the Chair of the Joining Forces Steering Committee and a member of the Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action Steering Committee and Executive Committee. Prior to this, Steve held prominent leadership positions such as Chief Executive Officer at Save the Children South Africa and Executive Director at SOS Children's Villages South Africa. Steve's career also includes roles at Trias NGO as Country Director, Medecins Sans Frontieres as Board Director and Head of Resource Mobilization, and various positions at VIA and VSO. Academically, Steve holds a Master's degree in Research and Development Management from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Bachelor's degree from Rhodes University.
