Yasmine Wasfi has a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, with extensive experience in clinical development and research. Yasmine most recently held the position of Senior Vice President and Head of Clinical Development at Savara Inc., starting in December 2023. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Clinical Research at Amicus Therapeutics from June 2021 to November 2023. Before joining Amicus Therapeutics, Yasmine worked at Johnson & Johnson as a Senior Director of Clinical Development for the Lung Cancer Initiative from November 2019 to June 2021. Yasmine also served as Senior Director at Janssen, Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson and Johnson from October 2014 to November 2019. Earlier in their career, Yasmine held positions as Director at Centocor from July 2010 to October 2014 and Associate Director at Merck from April 2006 to July 2010.

Yasmine Wasfi earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine from 1991 to 1995. Following that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Clinical Science from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center from 1999 to 2005.
