Thomas Unkles is a Design Engineer at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions since November 2020, bringing experience in mechanical engineering and additive manufacturing. Previously, Thomas held positions as a Lab Assistant and Mechanical Engineering Writing Fellow at Georgia Southern University. In addition, experience as a 3D Printer Technician at the University of Northern Iowa involved maintaining a 3D sand printer and working with various printing technologies. An internship with CB&I AREVA MOX Services contributed to skills in documentation and project support, while early experience as a Food Service Worker at Firehouse Subs provided foundational customer service skills. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Southern University, earned in 2020.
