Jonathan Di Fabio MD MSc FRCPC has a diverse work experience in the field of critical care medicine. Jonathan began their career as an Internal Medicine MD at the University of Toronto in 2010, where they worked until 2013. During this time, they also served as a Critical Care Medicine Fellow, gaining experience in various intensive care units affiliated with the university. In 2012, they joined Lakeridge Health as a Critical Care Clinical Associate, a role they held until 2015. Since 2015, Dr. Di Fabio has been working at Sault Area Hospital, where they have held multiple roles including Chief of Critical Care Medicine, Medical Director of Critical Care & Cardiology, and Intensivist.
Jonathan Di Fabio MD MSc FRCPC completed their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the University of Toronto in 2010. Prior to that, they earned their M.Sc. in Pharmacology and Toxicology, specializing in Cardiovascular Pharmacology, from the same institution between 2003 to 2005. Jonathan completed their undergraduate studies at Queen's University from 1999 to 2003, where they received an Honours B.Sc. in Life Sciences with Distinction, focusing on Biochemistry/Pharmacology.
In addition to their education, Dr. Di Fabio has obtained two certifications from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Jonathan obtained their FRCPC certification in Internal Medicine in June 2015 and a Critical Care Medicine certification in September 2017.
