Omar Alnammary has a decade of experience in the field of procurement. Omar began their career in 2010 as a Purchaser and Contract Representative for Saudi Aramco. In 2011, they moved to Sadara Chemical Company as an Investment Leader and Contract Advisor (Sourcing Specialist). In 2016, they joined Aramco as a Lead Procurement Advisor, Chemicals Technology & Development, Procurement Lead, Business Operation & Optimization. In 2019, they became the Head of Procurement for Aramco Chemicals Company. Currently, they are a Business Development Manager for Prosperity7 at Aramco Ventures.
Omar Alnammary completed a Foundation degree in Business from the University of Birmingham from 2006 to 2007. Omar then obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Aston University from 2006 to 2010. In 2008, they completed a course in Organizational Leadership at Newcastle University. In 2011 and 2012, they obtained a Masters certificate in Commercial Contract Management from Villanova University. In July 2019, they obtained a Certified International Procurement Professional certification from the International Academy of Business and Financial Management. Omar is currently pursuing an MBA at Imperial College London, which they began in 2022.
