Lilia Lau currently serves as Team Lead for Life & Disability Services at Saskatchewan Blue Cross since January 2024. Prior experience includes a dedicated role as Case Management Consultant at Sun Life from January 2019 to December 2023, where oversight of claims management for a team of Disability Case Managers and driving claims to resolution were key responsibilities. Lilia's career at Sun Life also included a role as a Disability Case Manager and Onboarding Specialist, showcasing strong coaching skills and quick adaptability. Prior roles involved advocating for individuals with developmental disabilities as an Employment Specialist and supporting clients' daily life skills as a Community Support Worker at the Developmental Disabilities Association. Earlier, Lilia taught piano at Long & McQuade Musical Instruments for a decade, holding an ARCT Piano Performance and Pedagogy diploma. Lilia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Health Sciences from Simon Fraser University and a Project Management Essentials certificate from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
