Kadir Bal possesses an extensive background in economics and trade, currently serving as a Board Member at SASA Polyester Sanayi A.Åž. since April 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Deputy Undersecretary at the Ministry of Economy from April 2017 to April 2020 and as an Acting Deputy Undersecretary in early 2017. Bal has also contributed as a member of the Biosafety Board and held various leadership positions at the Ministry of Economy, including Director General of Imports. An international perspective was gained through tenure as Chief Commercial Counselor at the Turkish Embassy in Washington, D.C., and as Commercial Counselor in Ottawa, Canada. Bal's academic credentials include an MBA in Finance from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Middle East Technical University.
