Yu Leo Lei is an accomplished academic and professional with extensive expertise in head and neck surgery, molecular pathology, and cancer biology. Currently serving as a tenured Associate Professor at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Yu Leo Lei also holds positions as a Steering Committee Member for the NCI Early Detection Research Network and Co-Chair of the NIDCR AHEAD Program. As a co-founder of Saros Therapeutics and a member of the NCI PREVENT Program and Immuno-Oncology Translational Network, Yu Leo Lei actively contributes to advancing cancer detection and treatment. Previous roles include membership on research committees at the University of Michigan and as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan Medical School. Yu Leo Lei's education includes a Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
