John Higgins CBE currently serves as Chair of the Global Digital Foundation, a platform promoting dialogue for evidence-based digital policy, and as Non Executive Chairman of Sardina Systems, which provides award-winning private cloud management solutions. In addition to these roles, John holds positions as Senior Advisor at BCW Brussels, Advisor and Moderator for the European Commission's Intelligent Cities Challenge, and Advisory Board Member of the EUTOPIA European University Partnership at the University of Warwick. John’s past leadership experiences include serving as President of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, and Director General for both DIGITALEUROPE and Intellect. Educationally, John holds a BSc in Maths and Physics from the University of East Anglia.
