Chris Louria serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer and Director of Human Resources for Sarasota County Government. Previously, Chris held several key leadership positions at Sysco, including President of Sysco Pittsburgh, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Operations, Vice President of Human Resources and Administration, and Director of Human Resources at Sysco Detroit. Additionally, Chris has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Instructor of Management and Human Resources at Madonna University, University of Detroit Mercy, and Oakland Community College. Prior experience includes the role of Director of Training and Development and Placement at Wayne County Government - Office of Human Services. Chris holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Human Resources from Wayne State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from Central Michigan University.
