Varun Garg is an experienced production manager currently at Sappi’s Ngodwana Mill since January 2017, overseeing recovery operations including Kraft Chemical Recovery and contributing to the Black Liquor Recovery Boiler Advisory Committee. Varun has held various engineering roles at Sappi's Saiccor Mill, progressing from junior process engineer to senior process engineer, managing multiple pulp production and chemical recovery processes. Varun possesses strong educational credentials, including a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, a Postgraduate Diploma, and is currently pursuing an MBA at GIBS Business School. Varun's extensive background in process engineering and production management reflects a robust expertise in the pulp and paper industry.
