Michael Morotti, MSc. MMI, is an experienced business development leader with a strong background in SaaS sales and healthcare technology. Currently serving as Director of Business Development, Global at Sapio Sciences LLC since January 2024, Morotti previously held global business development roles at Apprentice.io and Abbott, where responsibilities included driving revenue growth for STARLIMS software in life sciences and quality manufacturing. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Simplee as Area Vice President, Medsphere Systems as Global Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and Validus Medical Systems as President & Chief Revenue Officer. Morotti's career began with military service in the U.S. Army, followed by significant roles at Covidien (Medtronic), recognized for high performance and leadership in medical device start-ups. Morotti holds a Master's degree in Medical Informatics from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fresno.
