Fabrizio Cardilli has a diverse work experience in the field of renewable energy and hydrogen production. Fabrizio currently holds the position of Director - Hydrogen Project Development at Gruppo Sapio, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Saipem as Business Development - Renewables & Hydrogen Energy, where they focused on securing and developing offshore zero carbon energy projects, including hydrogen production, floating PV, and offshore wind. Fabrizio also had a tenure at GE, where they worked as Senior Market & Business Development in the H2 Gas Turbine & Low Carbon Solution division. In this role, they were responsible for market development, customer engagement, and commercial strategy. Additionally, they served as an Innovation & Startup mentor at GE, contributing to the implementation of Lean Startup practices within the company. Fabrizio Cardilli started their education by attending the University of Genoa from 1997 to 2002. During this time, they pursued a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. In 2000, they also studied at the Technological University Dublin, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Erasmus, which they completed in 2002.
After completing their undergraduate studies, Fabrizio went on to attend Cranfield University in 2003 and 2004. Here, they conducted CFD Fluidodynamics Analysis of the Rb211 Rolls Royce 747 Engine, focusing on the field of Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering.
In terms of additional certifications, Fabrizio obtained their Lean Six Sigma: Green Belt Certification in July 2015. Fabrizio is also a Certified Pricing Professional, having acquired this certification from the Professional Pricing Society. Additionally, Fabrizio holds an MBA, Master of Business Administration, which is conferred by ASFOR - Associazione Italiana per la Formazione Manageriale. Fabrizio is a member of the Hydrogen Italian Association under Hydrogen Europe. Specific dates of obtaining the certifications are not provided.
