Couarraze Sebastien currently serves as Maître de conférences en Sciences Infirmières at Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III since September 2020, where also co-responsible for the pedagogical DU training program in simulation for health sciences and co-coordinates the research unit in the Master’s program for Advanced Practice Nurses. In addition, Couarraze holds the position of ordinal advisor at Ordre National des Infirmiers since October 2020 and has been a member of EUSIM's faculty and course director for French course level 1 since 2017. Couarraze's extensive experience in simulation training spans roles at Institut Toulousain de Simulation en Santé and has involved tutoring in E-learning at ISPED. An Infirmier Capitaine with SDIS 31 since July 2006, Couarraze has also served as a trainer in IFSI at CHU de Toulouse until February 2023 and has conducted research as an associate researcher at Université Toulouse - Jean Jaurès. Couarraze’s educational background includes a doctorate in education from Université Toulouse - Jean Jaurès and various qualifications in health simulation and emergency services.
