Our history begins in 1960 when Santillana began its journey with the development of books, literacy and vocational training materials, as well as children's and young people's books. These were years in which the main challenge was to spread literacy and Santillana contributed to achieving this. Always with the idea of promoting learning and the development of people.

From January 2021 we belong to Sanoma Learning, a leading education group in Europe. Sanoma and Santillana combine their resources to shape the future of education.
