Gustavo Watanabe is an experienced audit and compliance professional with a strong background in internal and external auditing. Currently, Gustavo serves as the Audit & Compliance Manager at Santher since May 2023. Prior to this role, Gustavo held positions at Grupo Carrefour Brasil as Group Internal Auditor Coordinator from February 2021 to May 2023 and as Internal Control and Compliance Coordinator at Carrefour Brasil from September 2019 to February 2021. Gustavo's experience also includes a role as External Audit Manager at Mazars Brasil for a brief period in 2019 and extensive auditing experience at EY, where Gustavo progressed from Senior Auditor to External Audit Manager from July 2010 to June 2018. Gustavo holds a Master’s degree in Gestão Empresarial from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas and two Bachelor's degrees in Economics from Takushoku University and Accounting from Universidade Sant'Anna.
