Jean Louie is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as Deputy General Counsel at Santander US since September 2020, Jean leads legal affairs for Global Transaction Banking and has previously held roles as Associate General Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel for Corporate and Investment Banking. Prior to Santander, Jean was with BNY Mellon for nearly a decade, serving as Director and Managing Counsel for Agency Securities Finance Legal in the Americas, among other positions. Earlier in the career, Jean worked as an associate at Latham & Watkins and Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, specializing in securitization, structured finance, and financial restructuring. Educationally, Jean holds a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Media Studies from New York University.
