Ron Nelson has extensive law enforcement experience, serving as a Police Lieutenant for the Santa Rosa Police Department since October 2015. Prior to this role, Ron held positions as a Sergeant and Police Officer with the City of Santa Rosa from July 1998 to October 2015, and as a Police Officer with the City of El Monte from October 1992 to July 1998. Ron Nelson's educational background includes studies at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Studies from California State University-Long Beach.
