Christy Jacobs

Christy Jacobs is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in events coordination, real estate, and community outreach. Currently serving as Events & Communications Coordinator for the Downtown Organization of Santa Barbara Inc. since June 2023, Christy is responsible for managing social media, coordinating marketing material distribution, and overseeing event logistics. In addition, Christy works as a Realtor for Keller Williams Realty, Inc. and as a Clerical Substitute for the Santa Barbara County Education Office, where data analysis and entry skills are applied. Christy's experience includes roles in various organizations such as Coldwell Banker, Santa Barbara Channelkeeper as Fundraising Event Coordinator, and multiple positions at the Santa Barbara Zoo, emphasizing a commitment to community engagement and organizational success. Christy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography from UCLA and has received a Skills Competency Award in Interior Design and an Associate of Arts in Marketing from Santa Barbara City College.
