Cristina Monereo is a seasoned professional in digital law and privacy, currently serving as Digital Law/Privacy Manager for Sanoma across Spain, Poland, Italy, and Germany since July 2021. With a strong academic foundation, including a Bachelor of Laws from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and an Executive Master in Data Protection Privacy and Cybersecurity from IE Business School, Cristina also shares expertise as a Professor in the Executive Master program at IE Business School since January 2018. Prior legal experience includes a role as a Lawyer at Baker McKenzie Spain, focusing on IT, privacy, and commercial matters, and a secondment as Legal Counsel with Google, where contributions included localizing terms and privacy policies in compliance with Spanish regulations. Cristina's career began as a Solicitor Trainee at Bird & Bird, where assistance was provided on privacy and e-commerce regulation matters.
