Simon Pauck Hansen is an experienced executive with a strong background in strategic leadership and operations management. Currently serving as Interim Chief of Strategic Program at Sanoma Learning since August 2024, Simon is responsible for accelerating the transformation of the company’s operating model to enhance efficiency and capability in delivering digital learning products for the K12 market in Europe. Previously, Simon held various key roles at SAS - Scandinavian Airlines from November 2009 to January 2024, including EVP & Chief Operating Officer, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing global operations and strategic initiatives for a fleet of over 150 aircraft. Prior to SAS, Simon served in senior leadership positions at Spanair, focusing on network management and revenue generation. Simon's early career includes participation in an Executive Leadership Development Program at SAS Group and leadership roles within SAS's Ground Handling Services. Simon holds a Diploma in Business Administration and Marketing from Copenhagen Business School.
