Luis Barreto has extensive experience in the field of public health and immunization policy. Currently serving as the Vice President of Immunization and Science Policy at Sanofi Pasteur Ltd., they lead the Science and Immunization Policy function in Canada. Their previous roles within the company include Vice President of Public, Scientific and Medical Affairs, as well as various other leadership positions related to clinical trials of vaccines. Prior to their work at Sanofi Pasteur, they held positions at Connaught Laboratories Ltd., the Government of Northwest Territories, and various educational institutions in India. Luis Barreto holds degrees in Community Health & Epidemiology, Community Medicine, and Medicine.
