Fabio Fontes has extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management, currently serving as the Country Procurement Head at Sanofi since July 2019, overseeing the procurement sector in Brazil and leading initiatives in innovation, supplier relationship management, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Prior roles include Procurement Superintendent at Itaú Unibanco, managing a strategic sourcing program with a budget of USD 5 billion annually, as well as various senior positions at Redecard and Danone, where responsibilities spanned vendor management, product development, and regional procurement within the Americas. Fabio's career also includes significant roles at Whirlpool Corporation and Volkswagen do Brasil, demonstrating a strong track record in logistics and cost-saving initiatives. Fabio is pursuing a PhD in Administration and Business at the University of Twente, complementing a solid educational foundation that includes an MBA in International Business and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
