Catalina Bordeianu currently serves as Lab Head at Sanofi, overseeing drug discovery and the development of targeted lipid nanoparticles since July 2020, after previous experience as a Scientist focused on protein conjugation. Prior to joining Sanofi, Catalina Bordeianu completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Boston University and Harvard Medical School from 2016 to 2019, specializing in the development of biocompatible polymeric structures for drug delivery. Additional experience includes a teaching assistantship at IUT Louis Pasteur de Schiltigheim and a Ph.D. from CNRS, where the focus was on the synthesis and formulation of nanoparticles as contrast agents. Catalina Bordeianu's early career involved research internships and a variety of positions at Solvay and Farmaco, demonstrating a strong foundation in chemistry and drug development. Academic achievements include a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the University of Strasbourg and a diploma in organic chemistry engineering from ECPM.
