Ankit Kayal is a seasoned professional in process modeling and engineering with extensive experience in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and mechanical design. Currently serving as Deputy Director of Process Modeling at Sanofi Pasteur since April 2020, Ankit focuses on data science and process optimization. Prior to this role, Ankit worked at TechnoPro Solutions Inc. as a Global Process Equipment and Modeling and Simulation Engineer, providing expertise in CFD modeling to enhance product development efficiency for Sanofi Pasteur. Previous experience includes a Mechanical Design Engineer position at MYT Works, where Ankit was involved in creating camera support systems, and an R&D internship at Volkswagen India focusing on engine airflow models to improve efficiency and reduce emissions. Ankit holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Rutgers University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
