Andrea Harmsen possesses extensive experience in quality operations and management within the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industries. Currently serving as Head of Quality Operations Cluster at Sanofi since January 2013, Andrea oversees various key initiatives including Quality Risk Management, site inspection readiness, and continuous improvement processes. Previous roles include Quality Manager at Roche Diagnostics, where Andrea established compliance processes and led complaint handling teams, and Head of Sterile Manufacturing Department at Haupt Pharma Wolfratshausen GmbH, leading significant technology transfers and regulatory inspections. Andrea's career began with an apprenticeship in pharmaceutical manufacturing at Bayer HealthCare, followed by progressive roles at Sanofi and Steinbeiss Transferzentrum Pharmatechnik. Andrea holds a Master's degree in Process Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences, Düsseldorf.
