Rishaan Kenkre is a Research Associate at Sanford Burnham Prebys since August 2023 and has been an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the UC San Diego Division of Cardiovascular Medicine since October 2021. Previous experience includes a Computational Toxicology Internship at Neurocrine Biosciences and various roles in research and leadership within academic and industry settings at UC San Diego, including the Moores Cancer Center and the Biomedical Engineering Society. Rishaan's work has focused on cancer data analysis and the impacts of socioeconomic factors on treatment access, utilizing programming languages such as R and Python for data management and analysis. Rishaan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Bioengineering: Bioinformatics from UC San Diego, obtained in 2023, and graduated from Evergreen Valley High School in 2019.
