Jonas Malmgren

Sales Director Nordics, Baltics And DACH at Sandvine

Jonas Malmgren has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jonas currently holds the position of Sales Director for Sandvine, where they oversee sales and delivery in the Nordics, Baltics, and DACH regions. Jonas is responsible for developing new business models and offerings based on data insight and application analysis. Prior to this, Jonas worked at Cisco for a significant period. Jonas served as the Country Manager for Sweden, Finland, and the Baltic region for Cisco's Global Service Provider team. Jonas led a team of 15 individuals and reported to the VP for UKI&North. Jonas also held various managerial roles at Cisco, including Regional Sales Manager for Service Providers and the Public Sector, as well as the Manager for a team of account managers in the Enterprise sector. Before joining Cisco, Jonas worked at Accenture, initially as an Investment Manager in the Accenture Technology Venture Fund and later in Strategy and Business Architecture. Jonas began their career as an Officer in the Swedish Armed Forces, serving in the Mechanized Regiment P7, specifically in Battle Tank service. Overall, Jonas has substantial experience in sales, management, strategy, and business development.

Jonas Malmgren has a Master of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics, which they completed from 1996 to 1998. In 1998, they briefly attended the Ivey Business School at Western University for an MBA exchange program in Business Administration and Management. In 1997, they also participated in an MBA exchange program at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, focusing on Macroeconomics and Finance. Prior to their higher education, Jonas attended the Swedish Army Technical Officers School from 1992 to 1994, where they obtained a degree as an Officer specializing in Battle Tank operations in a Mechanized Regiment. Jonas began their academic journey at Lund University School of Economics and Management, where they pursued undergraduate studies in Business Administration from 1994 to 1996.
