Pete Docherty currently serves in a Global Accounts role at Sandvik, beginning in May 2022, where the focus is on supporting the largest customers of Sandvik Mining and Rock Tools. Prior to this, Pete was the Director at Escient from July 2019 to May 2022, overseeing business transformation strategies across various industries, while focusing on client partnerships and brand establishment in the Queensland market. Professional experience also includes a position as Practice Lead and Principal Consultant at SMS Management & Technology from May 2010 to June 2019, and earlier as a Business Analyst/Project Manager at Caterpillar Inc. Pete holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Information Technology and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Microbiology (Hons) from the University of Glasgow.
