Kumar Gautam is a Partner at Sands Capital Management, where professional focus is on investing in fast-growing software businesses globally since June 2014. Current enterprise portfolio includes notable companies such as Gusto, Primer.ai, Lyra Health, Klaviyo, Snyk, Datarobot, Outreach, Snowflake, UiPath, and Samsara, with previous investments in Anaplan, AppDynamics, DocuSign, Health Catalyst, and MuleSoft. Early-stage investments feature Uhnder, Kit Check, Brightflag, and Scopely. Prior to Sands Capital, Kumar served as a Strategy Consultant at Altman Vilandrie & Company from September 2011 to May 2014, specializing in tech, media, and telecom sectors. Kumar holds a Master of Science in Management from Stanford University and an A.B. in Computer Science from Dartmouth College.
