Jon Chavez possesses extensive experience in research and development management within national security and global security sectors, currently serving as an R&D Manager at Sandia National Laboratories since March 2012. Chavez has held multiple leadership roles, including managing the Nuclear Deterrence and Global Security Partnerships, overseeing technical strategy and program development, and leading internal research initiatives. Earlier experience includes business development roles at LifeROOTS and Enterphase Business Solution, alongside technical positions at Los Alamos National Laboratory and the City of Albuquerque. Educational qualifications include an MBA from UNM Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from The University of New Mexico.
