Francis daCosta is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in robotics and machine control. Currently serving as Chief Scientist at Stealth since January 2023, Francis is also the Founder and CTO of Meshdynamics, where contributions to the Internet of Things architecture and mesh propagator technology have been significant. Additionally, Francis is a member of Sand Hill Angels, engaging in the commercialization of disruptive technologies. Previous roles include Founder and CTO of Knowmadic, and the Advanced Cybernetics Group, which focused on automation and distributed control systems for robotic applications. Francis has held various technical positions at The MITRE Corporation, Northrop Grumman Corporation, Adept Technology, Ingersoll Rand, and Xerox, demonstrating a continuous commitment to innovation in robotic technology. Academic qualifications include a Master’s in Smart Product Design from Stanford University, a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Post Graduate qualification in Artificial Intelligence from UCLA.
