Sunny Patel has extensive experience in biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. Sunny began their career at Roche in 2008, where they served as a Clinical Team Leader, responsible for leading and implementing clinical development plans and managing a team of senior managers. Sunny also had roles as a Global Project Manager and collaborated with industry partners. In 2013, they joined Genentech as a Principal Manager, overseeing pipeline and portfolio planning until 2019. Since then, they have been working at Sana Biotechnology, initially as an Executive Director of Program Management and currently as the Vice President and Head of R&D Program & Alliance Management.

Sunny Patel obtained a Bachelor of Medical Biology degree with a specialization in Molecular Genetics from the University of East London, where they studied from 1996 to 1999.
