Hunter Harmuth is an experienced Operations Engineer currently employed at San Mateo Midstream since October 2024. Previously, Hunter served as an Operations/EHS Engineer at Ameredev, where leadership in regulatory compliance initiatives and operational optimization of gas operations were key contributions. As Lead Field Engineer at Gordon Technologies, LLC, Hunter oversaw MWD operations and focused on reducing downtime and enhancing drilling productivity. Earlier career roles included project management at Western States Fire Protection, where management of significant project budgets and coordination was crucial. Hunter began in the energy sector as an undergraduate researcher at The University of Texas at Austin, specializing in machine learning for geological systems, and interned at Tin Man Energy Services, where evaluations of economic potential for oil wells were performed. Hunter holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering and a Business Foundations minor from the University of Texas at Austin.
