Gary Chen is a seasoned professional in human resources, currently serving as a Human Resources Analyst for the City and County of San Francisco since 2017. In addition to this role, Gary has been involved with the San Mateo County Transit District in a human resources capacity since December 2015. Previous experience includes serving as a Mayoral Staff Intern for the City and County of San Francisco and as a Program Analyst at Population Services International. Gary also held the position of Campaign Fellow at the United Way of the Bay Area and participated as a Community Health and Economic Volunteer with the Peace Corps. Gary Chen holds a Master of Public Administration degree from California State University, Long Beach.
